The Inland Waterways Inspection Register European Union Commission Directive 2012/49/EU dated the 10th December 2012 came into force on the 1st  December 2013.

This directive amended Annex II to Directive 2006/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. It sets out new standards for testing of sewage treatment systems to ensure standards of discharge in European inland waterways will not have an adverse impact on the environment. Testing of the Maripur Membrane Bio-Reactor was carried out in Prague under the supervision of SGS Institute Fresenius with the official certificate No: R1*II*0002*00 issued to ACO Marine on 12th February 2014. As distributors of ACO products in the UK, Servac were pleased with the award of the certification and compliance with the inland waterways inspection register.
